THE EXCHANGE RUG CONSIGNMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
London House will provide a valuation of your rug(s) for a fee of £100*. *Maximum of 3 rugs per valuation
London House will edit the images you have provided and upload your rug(s) to www.londonhouserugs.co.uk in the Exchange/ Sale section of the website. The team will also write a brief description about your piece(s) and manage any enquiries regarding the rug. This service is an additional £50*. *Maximum of 3 rugs
When signing the Consignment Agreement, if you have stated that your rugs are in a good condition with no cleaning or restoration work required and the recipient contacts LHR about any undisclosed wear and tear, we’ll deduct any cleaning/repair work from your sale amount.
If someone shows an interest in your rug(s), we’ll inform you within 24 hours and confirm their offer with you. If you’re happy to accept the offer, London House Rugs will release 80% of the total amount to you 15 days after the rug is purchased. (LHR provide a 14-day return policy on all purchases).
If your rug(s) becomes unavailable at any time, you must notify London House Rugs immediately so that we can remove your item(s) from the website.
London House Rugs will endeavour to sell you rug(s) however please note there is no official guarantee that someone will purchase your item(s).
