    Yes, one of the main advantages of a bespoke hand-tufted rug is that you can work with us to create a custom design, pattern and colour scheme or even re-create a specific rug image or artwork. Bespoke rugs can be tailored to your preferred size and shape, whether it's a standard rectangular shape, round, oval, or something more unique.

  • How do I start the process of creating a bespoke hand-tufted rug?

    To begin, reach out to us with your ideas, design concepts, preferred colours, size prerequisites, and any other details you have in mind for your bespoke rug. Our design team will then produce a number of CAD's for you to consider.

  • How long does it take to create a bespoke hand-tufted rug?

    Hand tufting can be a labour-intensive process which means a typical rug can take around 9 weeks to be delivered to you once the design has been signed off.  However, the timeline for creating a bespoke hand-tufted rug can vary depending on the complexity of the design, the selected materials, and the rug’s size. Just ask us about estimated timelines during bespoke rug discussions.

  • Are bespoke hand-tufted rugs suitable for high-traffic areas?

    The durability of a bespoke hand-tufted rug depends on the materials used. For example, bamboo silk, viscose and silk are less durable than wool. However, hand-tufted rugs last for decades if treated with care.

  • Can I return or exchange a bespoke hand-tufted rug if I'm not satisfied?

    We have a rigorous process in place for creating bespoke rugs, including CAD selection and creating samples for every bespoke rug project. Once you have signed off your bespoke hand-tufted rug sample and the rug production is underway, we can no longer accept any returns as the rug is made specifically for your requirements.

  • How do I clean a hand-tufted rug?

    It's generally advised to vacuum regularly (with the beater bar turned off). In case of spills, opt for lukewarm water and a mild, all-natural soap. Gently blot with a dry, undyed cloth. Steer clear of excessive water or liquid cleaners as they might harm the fibres. Avoid carpet cleaner products, as they have the potential to alter your rug's colour.

  • Is there a limit to how intricate or detailed my bespoke design can be?

    Hand-tufted rugs are best suited to simpler designs. For complex and intricate designs, hand knotting is the preferred method. However, simplified versions of complex designs can be achieved with a hand-tufting technique.
