Hand woven and embroidered Suzani Kilim from Afghanistan. Inspired by original Suzani designs dating back to the 18th Century this production can be used as a wall hanging, throw or a rug. Suzani traditionally are embroidered tribal textiles made in Central Asian countries, notably Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Iran. The word Suzani comes from the Persian word for 'Needle', Suzan.We only post a small percentage of our Suzani Kilim online.
