The rug features a Gül (elephant foot) design, with 24 medallions woven within the central area and geometric diamond motifs running throughout the borders. The pink-brown ground colour contrasts against the cream and dark blue colours of these borders and medallions. This Turkmen rug is in good condition, with some wear to the fringes, edges and pile.
