A refined and elaborate woollen Antique Persian rug from Kerman with an intricate design of roses, garlands and blossoms intertwined in a riot of movement and colour. Workshop rugs of this type were hand knotted as decorative pieces to showcase the skill of the weavers and dyers. Circa 1910 and in very good overall condition, its deep, vibrant tones couldn��t help but energise any room this rug was placed in.
